Tickets!

Six weeks from tomorrow morning, we should be boarding a plane headed for Surabaya, Indonesia. Surabaya is on the coast of the island of Java - the northeast coast. We are scheduled to take off from RDU (Raleigh-Durham, NC) Wednesday, October 14 at 6am and arrive in Surabaya on Thursday, October 15 at 7:50pm (that's Indonesian time - it's really only 25 hours after take off) traveling with stops in New York and Hong Kong. Our adventures will then hit the road and travel south from Surabaya to the city of Malang - a two and half our road trip.

When we told the kids, they were all very excited! Moriah says she can't wait to get on the plane. (We'll have to let you know how long before she decides she can't wait to get off the plane.) Micaiah seems to think we are going in the next couple days... I guess I should show her on a calendar...
