Christmas tree up!

In what is somewhat old news now, we have our tree up and decorated. In this picture, the kids are working together to hang up a set of small ornaments - angels, Mary and Joseph, shepherds, etc. Together these ornaments make up a sort of cresh on the tree. Each of the three older kids has a set like this, but only Micaiah's set is here with us, so they put it up together.


Elijah also had a good time hanging ornaments.


We also decorated the windows behind the tree.


Decorating for Christmas meant getting out a few Christmas toys and books we have here. Here is our Veggie Tale cresh set that we brought.


After all was said and done, here she is. It turned out very well. It makes it feel a lot more like Christmas is coming to have the tree up and familiar Christmas songs playing. The weather outside certainly isn't very frightful!
