A strange little critter

Usually we don't have unusual things in the house. We've grown quite used to the lizards and a few 'normal' bugs (mosquitoes, lots of ants, moths). The other evening we spotted this thing on the floor. It's like a caterpillar, but very fuzzy.

Also, we now have a cat that lives in the attic. It doesn't bother us now that we know what the strange noises are!
